Metroid is a series of video games, with multiple genres. The player controls normally plays as the Space Marine Samus. The games mix the platforming aspect of Super Mario Bros with the exploration of Zelda. However, Metroid Prime stepped into an area of First Person Shooter. The series has seen some sort of release on all Nintendo systems [not including Game and Watch], excluding the N64 and GameBoy Color
